How can live in care benefit me?
Many elderly people are finding having their own live in carer a real and affordable alternative to having to move into a residential care or nursing home. Having to move out of the family home to receive ongoing 24/7 care is for many a stressfull and un-happy experience.
Having a live in carer solves the problem of having to move away from home and provides you with all the professional care and support your require within the comfort of your own home and familiar surroundings.
Your live in carer can not only be on hand while you are at home, but also while you are out shopping, visiting friends or family.
By choosing live in care you’ll immediately benefit from:
- Greater independence and choice of care.
- A more personalised care plan that is developed with you specificly in mind.
- Having the choice of receiving care at home with friends and family nearby.
- One to one support at home, but also in the community for shopping, visiting friends and family.
- Help with domestic chores and work around the house such as cleaning, ironing and vacuuming.
- More day trips and visits to places of interest with your carer on hand to take and support you.
- Companionship, friendship and emotional support.
Your chosen carer lives with you 24 hours per day 7 days per week. They are on hand to care and support you while you go about your daily life as normal. Our live in carers are directly employed, fully trained and support by Homecare UK while they are assigned to you.
You can enjoy receiving your care without the worry and hassle of having to employ and train a carer directly. All of our carers undergo a full training induction and periodic training to specificly meet your needs.
We provide live in care for the elderly and also PA’s (personal assistants) to adults who have mobility and spinal injury problems.
How much does having a live in carer cost?
Our live in care costs start from £650 per week with the actual figure depending on your personal requirements and needs.
We will visit you at your home and carry out an care plan assessment of your needs and produce a accurate quote for you to consider. We can also discuss the funding options that are available to you and to introduce you to our care funding specialists if you so wish.
